All activities held under the aegis of the Foundation are aimed at preservation and overall promotion of artistic, musical, pedagogical and educational legacy of composer Dmitry Kabalevsky.
Objectives of the Foundation include the following:
- Search and discovery of talented young performers and provision of assistance and support for their professional growth;
- Organization of the international festival “KabalevskyFest” in Moscow and in other regions of the Russian Federation;
- Organization of national and international competitions and festivals named after Dmitry Kabalevsky in Moscow and in other regions of the Russian Federation;
- Organization of public cultural events.
